These terms apply to the website at loanquery.com, operated by Loan Query ("we", "us"). By using the site you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
What this website is for
The site describes pre-settlement funding and lets you ask us to consider your case. It is for general information. Nothing on it is:
- an offer, commitment or approval of funding;
- legal, financial or tax advice;
- a substitute for advice from your own attorney.
Whether we can fund a case, and on what terms, is decided only after we have reviewed it with your attorney and is set out in a separate written funding agreement. That agreement, not these terms, governs any funding you receive.
Not a loan
The words "loan" and "lawsuit loan" are used on this site because that is how many people describe pre-settlement funding. The funding we offer is a non-recourse purchase of a portion of the proceeds of a potential future settlement or award. It is not a loan. Repayment is contingent on the case settling or being won; the full disclaimer is in the footer of every page.
Applying through the site
When you submit the application form you confirm that:
- you are at least 18 years old;
- the information you give is accurate and about your own case, or a case you are authorised to discuss;
- you agree to be contacted by Loan Query about your request by phone, email or text message, and to our speaking to the attorney or law firm you name.
Submitting the form does not create a funding agreement, and we may decline any request without giving a reason.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- submit false, misleading or automated applications, or applications on behalf of someone who has not authorised you;
- use scripts, bots or other automated means to access the site or submit the form;
- attempt to interfere with the site, its security or the systems behind it;
- copy, scrape or republish the site's content, other than for your own personal reference.
We use spam-prevention measures on the application form and may block submissions that appear to be automated or abusive.
Content and intellectual property
The text, design, logo and other content on this site belong to Loan Query or are used with permission. You may view and print pages for your personal use. Any other use needs our written permission.
Accuracy and changes
We try to keep the site accurate and up to date, but we do not promise that it is complete or error-free, and we may change or remove content at any time without notice. Information about pre-settlement funding is general; the rules that apply to it vary by state and change over time.
