This policy explains what information Loan Query ("we", "us") collects through the website at loanquery.com, how we use it and the choices you have. It applies to this website only. Any funding you receive from us is governed by a separate written agreement.
What we collect
Information you give us
When you use the "Apply for funding" form, we ask for:
- your full name and contact number (required);
- your email address, the type of case, your attorney or law firm and how to reach them, and a brief description of your case (optional).
You decide how much to put in the case description. Please do not include medical records, Social Security numbers, bank details or other documents in the form; if we need them, we will ask for them separately and tell you how to send them safely.
If you call us on (888) 356-0133, we may keep notes of the call so that we can follow up on your request.
Information collected automatically
When you submit the form, we also record:
- the page you submitted it from and, if you arrived through an advert or a link with campaign tags, those tags (for example
utm_sourceorgclid), so we know which advertising brings in applications; - your IP address and the date and time of the submission;
- timing information the form uses to tell people apart from automated software.
Our hosting provider keeps standard web-server logs for every visit, which include your IP address, the pages you requested and the type of browser you used.
Cookies and tracking
This website does not currently set its own cookies and does not use analytics or advertising trackers. If we add them in future, we will update this policy first and, where the law requires it, ask for your consent.
How we use your information
We use the information above to:
- review your request and contact you about it;
- speak to your attorney or law firm about your case, which we need to do before any funding can be offered;
- keep a record of applications we have received;
- detect and block spam, automated submissions and misuse of the form;
- understand which advertising and search traffic leads to applications;
- meet our legal and regulatory obligations.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for marketing unrelated to your request.
Who we share it with
- Your attorney or law firm. Evaluating a funding request requires us to discuss the case with the lawyer handling it.
- Service providers. The website and the mailbox that sends application emails are hosted by our web-hosting provider, and application emails are delivered to mailboxes run by our email provider. These providers process the information only to provide those services.
- Legal reasons. We may disclose information if the law requires it, to respond to a court order or to protect our rights or safety.
- Business changes. If Loan Query is sold or merged, application records may transfer to the new owner under this policy.
How long we keep it
- Application emails are kept for as long as we need them to deal with your request and to meet record-keeping requirements that apply to us.
- Spam-prevention records (IP address, time and the reason a submission was blocked) are kept for up to 30 days and then deleted.
- Web-server logs are kept by our hosting provider under its own retention schedule.
How we protect it
The website is served over HTTPS, so what you type into the form is encrypted between your browser and our server. Application details are then sent by email to a small number of Loan Query staff. Email is not a fully secure medium, and no website can promise perfect security, which is why we ask you not to put sensitive documents in the form.
Your choices
- You can call us instead of using the form.
- You can ask us what information we hold about your application, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it where we are not required to keep it.
- You can tell us at any time that you no longer want to be contacted about your request.

Children
This website is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has submitted the form, call us and we will delete the submission.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The effective date at the top shows when it last changed, and the current version is always at loanquery.com/privacy/.
